Yes, absolutely. Your very first trial lesson at Talqeen Academy is completely free with no commitment required. We want you to meet your teacher and experience the lesson before making any decision.

We teach all ages — from children as young as 4 years old up to adults of any age. We have dedicated programmes and teachers for young children, teenagers, adults, and new Muslims/reverts.

No prior knowledge is needed. Many of our students start with zero knowledge of the Arabic alphabet. Our Quran reading programme begins from the very first letter.

Lessons are conducted live via video call (Zoom, Google Meet, or a similar platform). The student and teacher see and hear each other in real time — just like an in-person lesson, from the comfort of home.

All lessons are calculated at $10 USD per hour. A 30-minute class costs $5, a 45-minute class costs $7.50, and a 1-hour class costs $10. See our pricing page for full details.

Yes. All our teachers are native Arab speakers with formal qualifications in their subject. Our Quran teachers are certified in Tajweed and many hold Ijazah — a formal chain of transmission in recitation. We do not hire untrained tutors.

Yes. We have both male and female teachers available. Please let us know your preference when you contact us and we will match you accordingly.

If you are not satisfied within the first week of classes, we offer a full refund — no questions asked. We are confident you will love your teacher, but your satisfaction is our priority.

Talqeen Academy and the Talqeen app are both from the same organisation — Talqeen. The app teaches Quran reading self-paced on your phone with speech recognition technology. The Academy provides live one-to-one lessons with qualified human teachers. They complement each other — many students use both.
